Description
An electric functional sofa is a motor-driven reclining chair that replaces the manual pull lever with an internal electric actuator. The user operates it through a wired hand control, which moves the backrest and footrest in sync and also activates the built-in massage motors and lumbar heating pad. Unlike a manual recliner, the user does not need arm or back strength to release the mechanism - a press-and-hold button does the work.
This particular model from Xiasen is a single-seat power recliner. It is upholstered in a linen-touch woven fabric, filled with high-density foam over a solid wood and steel internal frame, and mounted on a round metal swivel base. The chair reclines through a continuous range from an upright reading angle to a near-flat lounging position, with the footrest extending automatically. Two recessed cupholders sit in the padded armrests, and a side pocket keeps the hand control within reach. The massage system covers the back, lumbar, thigh and leg areas, while a separate heating pad warms the lumbar zone.
How It Operates
Power recline
- A low-noise motor drives the backrest and footrest together. Hold the button on the hand control to extend or retract; release it to stop at any position between upright and fully reclined.

- The steel round base plate lets the chair rotate a full circle so the user can face a TV, a window or a conversation without pushing the seat across the floor.

Rocking
- In the upright position, the chair rocks gently on the same swivel base, roughly a 30° arc.

A: Yes. Sample orders are accepted. We can ship by express (DHL/FedEx) to your door, or you can use your own courier account. The sample fee is refundable or deductible against the bulk order.

A: The chair is partially disassembled and packed in a five-layer corrugated carton with EPE foam and corner protection. Foam-to-foam, wooden crate or pallet packing is available on request.
